LONDON -- Isang araw matapos aprubahan ng United Nations (UN) Security Council ang Resolution 1970 na nagpapataw ng sanctions laban kay Col. Moammar Gadhafi, kaagad na hinarang ng British government ang mga ari-arian ng Libyan leader at pamilya nito.
Batay sa report, sinasabing nagmamay-ari ng "billions of dollars of investments" si Gadhafi sa London habang ang anak nitong si Saif al-Islam ay mayroon ding 10 million pound account sa nabanggit na bansa.
Kinumpirma rin ni British Foreign Secretary William Hague na kanila ng ni-revoke ang diplomatic immunity ni Colonel Gaddafi at ng pamilya nito sa Britain.
"We are now putting serious pressure on this regime. It is time for Colonel Gaddafi to go and to go now. There is no future for Libya that includes him," ayon kay Prime Minister David Cameron.
