John Lloyd Cruz has chosen to keep silent on the issue concerning Shaina Magdayao’s early morning call to Ruffa Gutierrez."Ang
entertainment reporters after the press conference announcing the second
season of the ABS-CBN primetime series “Imortal. “
Ruffa, who was once linked to John Lloyd, confirmed the 2:00am call but refused comment.
“Nagsalita
na si Ruffa last Sunday, si Shaina, I mean gustuhin man naming
magsalita, magpaliwanag o sumagot, hindi na. Okay na kami so tahimik na
lang tayo to give way sa inaasahan nating matigil na," John Lloyd added.
He further said that his silence on the issue is a form of respect to the parties involved.
"Ayaw
pa basta naayos na 'to through the help of my dear Tita Mariol (Alberta,
vice president of ABS-CBN talent arm Star Magic), okay na. Kami talaga
inaantay na lang namin na lumipas 'to," he stressed.
John Lloyd
assured entertainment press that he and Shaina are in really good terms
and that their relationship is as strong as ever, contrary to reports.
"We're
going strong. Wala akong nagiging problema at this point. Sobrang okay,
sobrang saya ng lahat. Wala kaming ibang iniiintindi kundi to look
forward to many celebrations. Hindi naman wedding. You know,
nagtratrabaho kami pero after work, we look forward to spending time
together so everything is good, wala pong problema."
John Lloyd also addressed entertainment reporters and columnists who continue to lambast him in their write-ups.
"Yung
Lloyd said.
Walang nakakaalam as in kami lang
nakakaalam. Wala ng dapat pang ilabas. Wala ng dapat pang pag-usapan."
