POLICE are hunting the possible cohorts of a man, who was arrested for selling blasting caps in barangay Pasil, Cebu City.
Investigation is ongoing to identify the people who supplied gun powder
to Eduardo Ceniza, said Senior Supt. Melvin Ramon Buenafe, chief of the
Cebu City police.
Ceniza was arrested on Friday in a buy-bust operation where he allegedly sold blasting caps to a poseur buyer.
Police later seized blasting caps, cyanide and other explosive paraphernalia in the man's home.
Ceniza admitted that the blasting caps were intended for illegal fishing but did not identify his suppliers of gunpowder.
Also arrested were Ceniza's workers Belargo Percival, 25, and Edgardo
Igot, 35. The three men will be charged for violation on Republic Act
8294 or for possession of explosive devices, said police./CORRESPONDENT
