From living a private life, Steph Ayson, the late AJ Perez's non showbiz girlfriend is now exposed to the public eye. But the young 17 year old lady doesn't seem to mind being under public scrutiny just to share with everyone what others may not know when he was still alive.
Recently, Steph opened her Twitter account to the public, posting images of AJ during her prom night. A sweet and vibrant AJ flashing his brilliant smile was reminiscent of how he lived his life as described by his loved ones - driven, positive and determined to succeed no matter what.
Steph recounted happy moments she shared with AJ in their over one-year relationship in an interview with ABS-CBN's "SNN" on Tuesday, April 19.
"I've had a crush on AJ since I was in grade school and we were batch mates. I met him again when I was in third year high school so dun lang nag start," she said.
"Una kasi medyo nayabangan pa ako. Ano ba inaartehan ba ako nito pero I realized he's really sincere. Very sweet," she added.
Now that AJ has joined his Creator, Steph revealed what she will miss most about AJ.
"I miss the way he calls me everytime may break sa taping. I'll miss of course having him around. I'll miss someone constantly bugging me to be okay."
She also admitted that it will be very hard for her to move on.
"I don't know how long it will take. How much of a while it will take. But I know with God's help and of course with AJ's help I'll be okay."
Her recent Twitter statement posted Wednesday, April 20, also said, "Dear Lord, please teach me how to let go."
Meanwhile, steph's coming out in the open was not positively received by a few people. Some Twitter users seemed to develop some kind of hatred for Steph. Immediately AJ and Steph's supporters defended the grieving lady.
Sam Concepcion, AJ's close friend tweeted, "Some people are just evil. You people deserve no respect. Leave @stephayson alone."
For Steph, more than anything, AJ's family is the one who ultimately needs all the support and prayers.
"Let's not forget to pray for AJ's family - Tito Gerry, Tita Marivic and Gello. They need all the comfort in the world," she said in her recent tweet.
