Well folks, after months and months of waiting, T-Mobile has finally confirmed
that Samsung’s Galaxy Note will indeed arrive at the carrier soon. We
recently reported about the listing of the handset under T-Mobile’s
support site, and that was only one of the many clues we’ve seen. But up
until now, there was no official word on the handset’s release.
However, now that we know that the phablet will indeed come to T-Mobile, the important question shifts from when to why?
Before it was confirmed, everyone wanted to know when the heck was
this darn phone coming. Now, after all this time of waiting, it makes us
wonder, why even launch it? The sequel to the Samsung Galaxy Note is
already being worked on and is expected to hit stores sometime this
October. If T-Mobile waits any longer to release the original Galaxy
Note, it will make absolutely no sense for a customer to buy it.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2
is rumored to pack a massive 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel
camera, 1.5GB of RAM, S Beam, S Voice, NFC, and the beloved LTE. So
why would someone lock themselves up in a two-year commitment for a
phone that is about to get updated in less than a few months?
Nonetheless, if you’ve for some reason fallen in love with the
original Galaxy Note, it looks like you’ll finally be able to get your
hands on it. T-Mobile USA confirmed in a tweet this morning that the
phablet would hit the carrier soon. The exact tweet wrote:
